The course will include how to access the Universal Credit Website, how to log on, search for other agencies, create a profile, upload a CV and cover letters also record job search activities in detail. Treat looking for work as a full time job and justifying this by record keeping.

To support clients how to access the Universal Credit Website, also to actively job search and record such, giving details of organisations names, contact details including dates.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Log onto the Universal Credit website.
  • Navigate the Universal Credit website.
  • Upload a CV.
  • Upload job search letters.
  • Record all job search activities i.e. Whom applied to and how with date.

How will I be taught?

  • One to one and group work.

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion
  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor

What else do I need to know?

  • All materials will be provided
  • Pen drive with CV and job search letters to upload.

Enrolment Conditions

You can enrol online if you meet all of the following requirements:

  • are paying the standard fee or are on any of the qualifying benefits
  • are paying with a credit/debit card or are not paying a fee because of a qualifying benefit
  • have a valid email address
  • have been resident in the UK, EU or EEA for the last 3 years
  • are aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2017
  • have read and accept the standard terms and conditions
