English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Level 2 Writing

Ref: C3840906

On this course, we will study a wide range of features of texts, of varying levels of complexity and length. This will help you develop ways to use your background knowledge of a subject and previous experience to help you decipher the meaning. We will practice summarising information from longer documents, and discuss why this is an important skill. We will look at how meaning of words can change over time, between contexts and when used for different purposes.
