Learn the Modern Standard Arabic Language and cover range of situations that you encounter in the Arab countries, The course is designed for students who have completed level one ( beginners) in Arabic or for those who want to improve existing skills To give a short presentation about themselves including hobbies like and dislike. And to overcome problems arises during a visit or holiday such finding the way or going to the doctor and book appointment in Arabic Language Talk about weather or feelings in Arabic or asking the right time in Arabic

Course aim

To learn the four skills of Arabic Language ,reading ,writing ,listening and speaking skills To be able to write a short passage written in Arabic using verbs ,nouns and adjectives words

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for improvers
  • This course is suitable for beginners and improvers
  • This course is for people with little spoken English

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Learning about personal details and to be confident to give presentation about themselves including hobbies they like and dislike
  • Finding the way and ask for direction in Arabic
  • Going to the doctor and say what wrong with you in Arabic
  • Talk about weather and feelings in Arabic ,that help to aid basic conversation with a native Arabic speaker
  • Shopping ,ting to the shop and ask for specific items ask how much ,or return and item and say what's wrong with it and be confident to ask for a refund in Arabic.

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning
  • You may be asked to undertake additional work in your own time to support your learning
  • You will be expected to carry out a range of activities in your own time
  • To take part in a group activities to produce a wall display that aid learning process such weather chart ,feelings images and numbers posters.

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion
  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
  • You will be encouraged to consider other students work and give your opinions and suggestions
  • A file of work will be kept which will help to record your progress

What else do I need to know?

  • Folder to keep your work and books recommend by the tutor e.g.. Mastering Arabic book and Gate way to Arabic

  • Basic level of Arabic Language is needed Also basic level of E
