Participants will learn to be able to make a difference in their lives, making a change and respond to new circumstances. They will learn to recognise physical and emotional signs of anxiety. Learners will develop compassion and be able to use self-soothing practices when needed. Tools such us positive affirmation will allow them to stay focused and balanced by looking at the positive elements in their lives. By acceptance and understanding unhealthy thinking habits they will regain the full control of their own lives. They will work on self-esteem and confidence, understand better their environment as well as any relationships they build with others. Each week the group will learn new mindfulness techniques which will allow them to break off the autopilot and slowly start regaining a position of power in daily decisions. Appreciation, compassion and kindness are key elements of each session.
