Day School: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Mind

Ref: C3741280

This interactive, enjoyable and stimulating Philosophy study day explores and evaluates different schools of thought about the nature of the mind: the view that the mind and body are completely distinct, the view that mental processes are physical processes and the view that the mental depends on the physical. Strengths and weaknesses of these views will be considered, enabling learners to form reasoned judgements about them. Fundamental concepts and terms within the philosophy of mind will be introduced.
