Day School: We Need to Talk about Donald - Trump, America and the World

Ref: C3741186

This course examines why some Presidents are revered, some are respected and some are deplored. We examine the criteria used by US historians and political scientists to rank the Presidents. We will see that some Presidents maintain their status as 'great' or 'failed', but others move up and down the rankings as time passes. We will closely analyse the performance of particular modern Presidents, including John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard M. Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. Finally students will assess the performance to date of President Trump.
