Day School: Family History - Writing a Life Story

Ref: C3741151

This day school will help you if you would like to start writing a family history. Maybe you have an ancestor you have heard some colourful stories about, someone who lived through a particularly interesting historical time or got involved in newsworthy events. You may even be lucky enough to have that person’s own account or memoirs, or family letters and photos that tell a moving story. This brand-new course will show you how to write a family history, whether you would like to put together a booklet for your family, an account to share with your local history society, an article for a magazine, a published book, or a web page or blog. We will look at examples of family history writing for inspiration, and discuss the different formats and publishing options available.
