The course is aimed at learners who have completed a beginners' course in Spanish or who have substantial experience of speaking the language. We will develop structures and vocabulary learned in previous courses through more detailed study of a variety of themes. Learners will have an opportunity to discuss their lives, express their opinion, agreement or disagreement about recent events including holidays, art, music, literature, history and current affairs. We will introduce the subjunctive mood so that students can express doubt and desire.
