Exploring Colour through Textiles

Ref: C3672443

This creative course explores textiles as art, focusing specifically on the way we can explore colour theory through fabrics, dying and stitch processes. Taking an experimental approach to textiles, learners will gain a grounding in a range of textile techniques. They will have the chance to experiment with a variety of processes whilst working with both traditional and alternative materials.

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning
  • There is no homework set but often students choose to take work home and develop samples, due to time restrictions in class.
