Exploring Normanton in the Past

Ref: C3672286

The course is all about living life in the landscape around us. We will look, with an archaeologist, at how people lived in the past, from Stone Age Britain right to the landscape we live in today. We will look at how people made settlements, villages, towns and cities and how they built communities so that they could live together. We will also look at how we can find out more about the places we live in by looking at archives, old photographs, listening to our memories and maps.
