Sewing for Fun

Ref: C3671890

This course aims to build on existing sewing skills and to introduce learners to new techniques. We will make patchwork items: choice of aprons, cushion covers, bags or a baby's cot quilt or other suggestions made by the participants. We could introduce inserting zips, hand finishing and using simple paper patterns (learning how to use them, identify the symbols and alter to fit). If the learners request different skills, every effort will be made to accommodate these.
