Ref: C3671754

An introduction to the elements in the Periodic Table and their importance in making essential molecules. This will include water and its unusual properties as well as an introduction to atmospheric chemistry. There will be an outline to where we get energy from and finally an opportunity to have some understanding of the chemical processes to make some important chemicals, some of which are local to us.

Course aim

Dip into the fascinating world of essential chemicals that have transformed our lives. Explore the impact of chemistry, using accessible presentations on the elements and the materials they provide.
