The course will help you to tune into your body's needs. You will be encouraged to relax your body and mind and learn how to practise yoga in a gentle and nurturing way. We will be practising some classic yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques and relating these practices to our everyday lives.

To increase your flexibility, peace of mind and ability to relax through the practice of regular yoga, relaxation and meditation.

- The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What will it be like?

WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.

- All materials will be provided - please wear loose warm clothing.
