Ancient Landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, Recent Discoveries Upper Wharfedale

Ref: C3671063

In the Yorkshire Dales you can see some of the best preserved ancient landscapes in the country. In this course we will look at examples in the Grassington area and find out what can be learnt from them about our ancestors' way of life. Classroom sessions will help you to understand the background and importance of the evidence, and visits will allow you to see it at first hand. In practical sessions you'll be introduced to the traditional skills that are used to record and investigate ancient landscapes, as well as finding out how the latest technology is contributing to our understanding.
