Continuing Yoga

Ref: C3670716

The style of yoga taught on the course falls under the broad banner of Hatha yoga and will be taught by a tutor who has over 15 years of teaching experience. The course is suitable for students who have already had some experience of yoga and who wish to further their practice. They will be guided towards making progress at their own pace and according to their own ability. The course will include a variety of different techniques, asanas (postures) and breath work. Particular attention will be given to the foundation of a posture, using the contact of the body with the ground to bring greater length and balance to the spine and greater ease and freedom to the breath. Different breathing techniques will be practiced to enhance awareness of the breath and the breath will be used as a tool for greater awareness of the body.
