Creative Writing

Ref: C3529036

A New Year, a new creative You! This course is designed to provide fresh strategies for opening up the muse of creativity in your writing. It will be pitched at a level accessible both to beginner writers and those who have some experience and wish to inject some stimulus into their writing. The sessions will cover different genres - in particular poetry, fiction and life writing - week by week. A typical session will offer some focus on exemplar materials followed by appropriately tailored creative writing exercises. There will be an emphasis upon group discussion and, as the course gathers pace, there will be the opportunity for supportive group appreciation and critiquing of each member's work under the Tutor's direction. It's fun, stimulating and you make new friendships.
