Art for Beginners

Ref: C3528905

Come to this dynamic and visually enriching course which will introduce you to a variety of techniques, materials and approaches to drawing. We will explore key elements of the visual world, such as line, tone, form, texture, space and composition, and discover different ways of using them to enhance your own artistic vision, and gain an understanding of how other artists have used these in their work. Using a range of materials and techniques such as pencil, charcoal, pastel, collage, ink and wash you will be encouraged to take your drawing in fresh, challenging directions. The emphasis will be on experimentation rather than the finished product which will help to develop your imagination and stimulate creativity, and develop your ability to see like an artist.
