Ref: C3528845

A course structured to enable beginners and those with some ability in watercolour painting to experience success in this delicate but expressive medium. The emphasis will be on landscape and gardens combining both to create an interesting and varied image. We will be working from photographs sourced by the tutor, although students are welcome to bring their own photos for a more personal source. Picture composition, the use of colour and painting techniques will be dealt with in a relaxed, informal atmosphere with tutor guidance and demonstration at all stages. A brief encounter with mixed media will also form part of the course.
