The Flowering of Europe 11th - 12th Centuries

Ref: C3528690

By contrast with the earlier period of European History sometimess called the "Dark Ages ", the eleventh and twelfth centuries are characterised by sustained growth and development in the economic political and intellectual spheres. It is during this period that Western Europe acquires distinctive modes of thought and a particular approach towards government and institutions.
