For Your Delight - 8 weeks of Poetry Appreciation

Ref: C3528686

W.H. Auden wrote the words 'for your delight' in his poem 'Look, Stranger!' He wants us to delight in his depiction of the island where the 'leaping light' plays on the sea. Wordsworth also believed that poetry should delight the reader. Come and explore a variety of poets old and new to enjoy their work and deepen your own understanding of how poetry can inspire and sustain. Reassess some poems you already know and relish some you have not read before.
