Patchworking and Quilting - Intermediate

Ref: C3125779

This course is ideal if you want to improve your patchwork and machine quilting skills. With guidance from your tutor you will create up to three patchwork designs of your choice, which will then be recreated many times until you have created a lap sized quilt. You will gain confidence in the techniques required to construct accurate patchwork and quilting with a professional finish. Techniques will include accurate cutting with a cutting mat and rotary cutter, use of 1/4inch seams, pressing to ensure flat seams, seam matching, basting, machine quilting then finally binding the edge of the quilt. You will be teacher lead through demonstrations and sampling and will spend time within each session working on your own project applying your new found knowledge.
