In spite of the trials and tribulations of life in medieval times, it wasn't all work work work. This light-hearted course will explore what medieval men and women, from peasants to kings, did with their time off. Expect to listen to songs, play games, maybe even try a dance or two. Follow the celebrations of the seasons as well as finding out a little about subjects as diverse as pet keeping, jousting, gambling and juggling, as they were enjoyed c.1200-1500.
