Art Appreciation

Ref: C2523180

Throughout history art has been categorised into themes and movements to help us understand its place and relevance. Art has always incorporated new techniques and technologies as it has developed. This course explores how this has affected what it aims to present and how various artists and themes have impacted and influenced each other. We will discuss whether art today is trying to communicate and replicate the same ideas as in the past or forge new paths of enquiry.
