Weekly classes in the art of drama for the over 60's. Classes take place at the Crypt Centre, Munster Square in the Great Portland area Central London. Two hours on Thursday's between 11am and 1pm. Very relaxed and fun atmosphere working towards two productions a year. A Summer and Christmas show. All members are encouraged to take part in performance and achieving the outcome of performing in front of an audience. All levels are eligable. No previous experience necessary. Beginners welcome.

Course aim

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Achieve performing in front of an audience.

How will I be taught?

  • Teaching methods will promote confidence in my learners encouraging them at all times that they can achieve their outcomes.

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion
  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
  • You will be encouraged to consider other students work and give your opinions and suggestions
  • A file of work will be kept which will help to record your progress
