Weekly Drama classes on a Thursday morning in Central London NW1 Class times 11.am - 1pm. Friendly and fun atmosphere. New members always welcome and no previous experience is required or necessary. The classes lead to rehearsing and a performance of two productions a year. Summer and Christmas shows. Whether you want to develop confidence, learn a new art form or even make new friends this class provides a warm and friendly space to encourage many positives.

Course aim

Weekly classes in Drama for the 60+ yrs leading to performance. No previous experience necessary. Friendly and welcoming environment.

  • This course is suitable for beginners and improvers

  • Work as part of a group / team.

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion
  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
  • A file of work will be kept which will help to record your progress
