Lets Read More Latin

Ref: C2338907

We read original Latin literature from a variety of authors, building on students' previous experience, in order to appreciate the range of styles and topics in both prose and verse. All this is supplemented with careful revision of grammar and syntax, including translation from English to Latin. The authors will be selected from Cicero, Livy, Pliny, Tacitus and Erasmus ( as an introduction to medieval Latin). Verse will include Ovid's Heroides and selections from Virgil.
