Day School: The Dutch Masters

Ref: C2224726

The small country of The Netherlands became immensely rich and powerful due to its trading empire. This and the Protestant/Catholic religious divide influenced the artists' work and the people who commissioned it. We shall concentrate on the major figures, Vermeer, Rembrandt and Rubens and discuss how they differ and describe their very different lives.
