A course designed to develop important skills that enable them to work on gaining a positive self-image. Including confidence/self-esteem, communication skills,and inter-personal skills.

Course aim

To develop and build confidence and introduce different skills related to employment. This will incorporate Groom yourself, dress well,think positively, get to know yourself and act positively.

Who is the course for?

Willingness to participate.

What topics will this course cover

1. Enrollment, Introduction, team building.2. How do you gain confidence and self esteem. 3.Use healthier motivation habits. ... 4.self-appreciation 5.Working with perfectionism. 6.Recap and Course assessment.

What will it be like?

WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

1. Gain confidence and self-esteem. 2.Use healthier motivational habits 3.Self-appreciation 4.Working with perfectionism in a positive way. 5.The meaning of self-belief?

How will I know I'm making progress?

Written and verbal feedback will be given. On-going progress will be monitored by question and answer. Your tutor will assess your individual work throughout the course and give you informal feedback.

Pencils and pens, paper. Committed to attend.
