Course aim

The course is designed to enable the student into a positive working mindset , providing the student with access to opportunity and signposting the student to a new and improved lifestyle . delivering the course in a safe and secure enviroment.

What topics will this course cover

Students will take part in topics including :- gentle exercise / cooking / relaxation classes , group therapy / fishing / local history / drama / boxercise etc

What will it be like?

WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

Learning outcomes include :- 1 To be able to engage in calm and meaningful conversation with other students 2. To feel more relaxed 3. To be More confidence 4 . To have an action plan . 5. At the end of the course the student will be able identify a healthy "positive " from a dangerous "negative" obsession

How will I know I'm making progress?

Regular meetings and one on one interview

What else do I need to know, do or bring?

Non needed although all weather clothing is advised. it can be provided at no cost for the duration of the course
