This class is for students who already have some knowledge of the language and wish to improve their skills. We shall build on your existing grammar, expand your vocabulary and give you the opportunity for communicating in a variety of everyday situations.

To progress to a more advance level in French, giving you the confidence and freedom to express yourself in every day situation.

What topics will this course cover

Modern inventions, grammar revisions (prepositions, the passive, healthy eating, obesity, organic food, being vegetarien, role-play, listening and reading comprhension, presentations

What will it be like?

WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

To revise specific grammar points Listen effectively to identify information. To consolidate their reading ability in order to retrieve relevant information concerning grammar points and/or about everyday situation. To talk about various aspect of French way of life and culture including aspects of everyday life.

Regular homework and presentations, regular vocabulary test
