This is a follow-on course from the Reiki For Self Development Course Parts 1 & 2, this course explores further techniques from Eastern and particularly Japanese Reiki teachings and approaches to self help and personal development. A further range of meditation models and practical self development techniques will be taught and experienced.

A follow-on course from the Reiki For Self-Development Course Parts 1 & 2, this course explores further techniques from Eastern and particularly Japanese Reiki teachings and approaches to self-help and personal development. A further range of meditation models and practical self-development techniques will be taught and experienced, to expand upon skills learned in Reiki For Self-Development Parts 1 & 2.
To expand upon skills learned in Reiki For Self Development Parts 1 & 2 and to further enhance self-confidence and personal skills through the study and practice of traditional and modern self help techniques from Eastern cultures and Japanese Reiki traditions. To define, examine and experience a further range of relaxation, self-healing and personal development techniques that can be utilised in everyday life.
Who is the course for?
Students should have first completed Reiki For Self Development Parts 1 & 2.

Weekly Meditation & Treatment Practice Working with Chakras & Auras Chakra Balancing Techniques Usui Five Head Positions Treatment Hatsurei Ho Start-up Meditation 7 Sacred Breaths Meditation Scanning & Intuitive Techniques Working with Chakras & Auras Usui Five Head Positions Self Treatment Meditation Scanning & Intuitive Techniques Golden Ki Visualisation Manifesting Goals with Reiki Japanese "Shu Chu" Group Reiki Sessions Other Applications of Reiki Self Help Techniques Progression
What will it be like?
WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
Identify a further range of meditation techniques and models, and have a basic understanding of their origins, uses and practice. Experience further personal benefits by experiencing, practicing and using some meditation techniques and models at this workshop Participate more confidently in group learning, sharing and relaxation activities Experience further personal benefits by participating in group learning, sharing and relaxation activities (e.g. increased self-esteem, reduced stress, think more positively, deal better with stress and anxiety) Utilise some meditation techniques and models into daily practice for the improvement of general health and well-being
How will I know I'm making progress?
Feedback from students will be encouraged after each specific technique has been explained, demonstrated and practiced. Learners will be encouraged to practice certain techniques between the two sessions and report any findings, progress and achievements at a “Talking Stick” session on the final day.

Reading and information sources
All handouts and necessary reading materials will be provided.
What could the course lead to?
Students are encouraged to utilise the skills gained in their daily lives for their on-going health and well-being. References will be supplied for further reading and research. Students should be able to immediately utilise the techniques learned during this course.
