Improve your Italian in a friendly atmosphere with a native Italian tutor. This course is for those (above the improvers level) who want to develop further the skills of speaking, understanding, reading and writing.
To develop further speaking and listening skills in order to handle more complex conversations. To achieve a good confidence with the Italian grammar and develop writing and reading skills.
Who is the course for?
Course participants should have approx. 4 years of experience learning Italian
What topics will this course cover
This course will cover the following topics and activities: - New vocabulary in order to converse more fluently about a wider range of topics - How to use the Imperfect Tense - Develop reading and writing skills
What will it be like?
WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
Hold a casual conversation and talk about themselves with a good degree of fluency and accuracy Demonstrate the correct use of the Imperfect Tense Read and demonstrate an understanding of selected texts

Informal feedback will be given by the tutor throughout the course.

Reading and information sources
Extra materials and handouts will be given throughout the course by the tutor. Learners will be asked to prepare some written homework between sessions.
