Castaway Feel the Beat: Get in Time
During this course there will be the opportunity to explore a variety of creative activities through dance, drama and song culminating in a performance in front of others, all within a friendly and supportive environment. There will be an emphasis on self improvement and the building of self confidence.

Who is the course for?
What topics will this course cover
This course will involve learning new dance movements and new songs from a wide variety of different genres, some modern and some from the past.
What will it be like?
WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
Perform a dance or song in a small group in front of others Show the ability to keep a steady rhythm in either a dance or song Show the ability to suggest creative improvements to either a dance or song To be able to make a statement about things that have been learnt within an activity
