Dream Plan - Day School

Dream Plan will be an interactive day to help you create an action plan for your personal goals. We will use J K Rowling's life story to think about dreams and the ups and downs of achieving them.

Course aim

Dream Plan is an introduction to using life coaching planing tools to achieve a goal e.g. planning an holiday, creating life/work balance

Who is the course for?

Anyone who would like time and space to think about how to make their goal happen

What topics will this course cover

During this day course, in the morning; students will be asked to create a personal goal they will work on during the day, mid morning we will study J K Rowling's life story, looking at all she faced to get her book published and finishing the day off by focusing on the next stage to achieving our personal goals.

What will it be like?

WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

To use one life coaching tool Show an understanding of the challenges which you could face working on a personal goal

How will I know I'm making progress?

They will be able to show an understanding of the challenges you face when achieving a personal goal

What else do I need to know, do or bring?

Students will need to have a notebook and pen for the session

What could the course lead to?

Students could progress to a longer life coaching course.
