This course can help plan how you like to use you time during your retirement years, by the end of the course you will ( hopeful) have made new friends and created an action plan for your retirement.

Course aim

This course aims to support people to develop an action plan around what they may like to do during their Retirement

Anyone who has or is thinking about Retirement

What topics will this course cover

What is Retirement?, Take a look at the various possibilities of what do during Retirement and consider the challenge of trying new things

What will it be like?

WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. You will be asked to share your ideas and views in the class and work with the group to give and accept feedback in a supportive environment. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning. You may be asked to undertake work to support your course outside of your class.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

To show personal learning by engaging with the subject of session of the course. To complete a plan which is personal and includes new challenges. To join in with group work To complete task set of each week To engage with end of course presentation

How will I know I'm making progress?

Students will make progress by engaging with the course to create and complete a personal action plan.
