Exploring Art: Reality and Escapism View details

This course will explore the ways in which Art can be used to relate to different situations. We will use a range of examples of paintings by various artists (mainly from the 19th & 20th centuries) to relate to the considerable changes experienced in the last couple of years throughout the pandemic, exploring themes which will include views from windows and balconies, the surreal parallels and contrasts of empty and busy cities. There will be a focus on the way in which things we have experienced can be related to examples in Art helping us to understand & also the way in which paintings provide a form of escapism. Fully illustrated with discussion.

In this 6 week course you will discover the different ways that your immune system is trying to let you know that it needs your support. Each week we understand more of the language used by our "Doctor within" by delving deeply into my 5 Pillars of Health. You will see real time changes when you support your immune system and be prepared to go to the next level in making lifestyle and health changes that will last. In a safe and supported environment you will be introduced to a range of strategies which you may wish to commit to either during the course or later. With full participation, by the end of the course you will be empowered to support your immune system on several levels which will help you move to sustained level of health and wellness.
