Looking After the Environment

As we face the realities of the climate emergency, one of the most important events will be held in Glasgow between 1 and 12 November. During the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2021 (also known as CoP 26) the worlds nations either will - or wont - agree how we will take the collective action needed to avoid acute global warming. In this programme we have a range of online courses of varying duration which will provide you with an introduction to the issues, you can learn how to forage and live more sustainably through growing your own vegetables and using them in recipe, learn about the basic principles of bee keeping and you can also learn how to transform and recycle garments.

Programme aim

The aims of this programme is to provide you with knowledge through a variety of subject that can be transferred into your life in order for you to make informed changes to support sustainability

This programme of courses is for residents of the North of Tyne Combined Authority - Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland
