This qualification has been designed in conjunction with the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority. During this course you will learn about employment law and application processes. You will learn about exploitation and how to report it.

Course aim

This course will raise your awareness of basic employment law and job application processes and help you spot and report exploitation.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify how to search for a job
  • Recognise the key differences between common types of employment
  • Discuss basic employment rights
  • Consider how to recognise signs of exploitation
  • Highlight how to prevent labour exploitation
