Greener Pastures - Describing Nature in English Literature

This course will provide an introduction to the different ways of describing nature throughout the centuries. We will read and analyse together poetry and prose extracts, discovering the most common rhetorical tools employed to talk about the environment and the development of the relationship between human and non-human.

Please bring a notepad and pen/pensil. A file with the texts will be sent in advance and all the reading will be done during the lesson.
