Buying and Selling online - Groceries, Gumtree and more

This is a taster session for beginners who want to learn how to buy online safely and to sell their own items using platforms such as eBay and Gumtree. For buying we will consider price comparisons, safe payment and making choices. For selling we will look at setting up an account, deciding on stock, listing and shipping your items, promoting your listing.

Course aim

You will explore 4 different sites to buy and sell products including online payment processes such as PayPal.

  • Be able to Use different platforms to buy and sell products
  • How to use PayPal and other payment processes
  • Use Google to compare prices and search for products
  • Use a supermarket website to shop online
  • Develop effective selling strategies
