Together We Learn ESOL

During the course you will start to learn basic English that will help you better explore and take part in your local community. Before you can join the course, your English skills will be checked with a short test so that the tutor can make sure that the class is right for you. This course is for people with very little of not English. You do not need any ESOL qualifications to join.

Course aim

This course will help improve your confidence to start speaking and listening in English.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Look for places of interest in my local community
  • Explore my local community with more confidence
  • Listen for information in everyday situations
  • Ask for information in everyday situations

  • You have a valid email address so that you can receive confirmation of your booking
  • You have been resident in the UK, EU or EEA for the last 3 years
  • You are aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2021
  • You declare that the address you provide is correct and that you will provide evidence of this and your eligibility to live and work in the UK
