Supported Learning Pottery

An introduction to working with clay where learners can use the basic techniques, gain an understanding and the more able can develop their own ideas. Numeracy and Literacy skills are incorporated where appropriate.

Course aim

To improve skills and knowledge through personalised learning and support progress towards further independence.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • To listen to1-4 instructions
  • To recognise 1-5 pottery items
  • To recognise 1-5 shapes
  • To recognise 1-5 colours

All pottery materials are provided but please bring your own apron and refreshments.
