This course will help the learners to improve their confidence and improve their language and presentation skills. They will be able to look for the jobs that match with their skills and they'll learn the vocabulary related with job descriptions. They will complete a short personal statement.. They will practice speaking and listening skills. They will also learn the language used to describe conditions of employment and workplace expectations.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Complete a basic application form including a short, personal statement.
  • Read and understand basic job descriptions from a variety sources.
  • Read and write sentences using modal verbs of polite requests, permissions and offers.
  • Learn the language used to describe conditions of employment and workplace expectation.
  • Listen and respond to three or more interview style questions.

The learners should be able to read and write full sentences and understand the vocabulary required for up to entry 2 students.
