This course is aimed at providing basic IT skills for beginners. It will include understanding the English terminology, the use of email and using the internet to search for information, access services and job hunting.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Use email to send, reply to, forward messages and attach files
- Use the internet to access services and information, e.g. details of your GP and Dentist , Bus routes ,how to book Covid tests, etc
- Use the internet to search for jobs
- Understand the English terminology used for computers
What else do I need to know?
You will need to have a device that can access the internet. It can be a smart phone, tablet or computer. You will also need an email account. If you don't have one, this can be set up during the course.
