You will learn the English alphabet and develop your knowledge of English numbers. You will practise short conversations and talk about your feelings, likes and dislikes. You will learn new words and develop your reading and skills
Course aim
This ESOL course is for beginners. It will help you to develop basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skill in English.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Read, write and say the numbers 11-20
- Read, write and say the letters of the alphabet in upper and lower case
- Talk about my feelings, what I like and don’t like
- Talk about my feelings, what I like and don’t like
What else do I need to know?
- All materials will be provided - Official document(s) showing the correct spelling of your name, address and date of birth. Certificates for any English / English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) qualifications you already have.
