Next Step Digital Skills

Based over 10 weeks, this friendly course will enable students to build on their digital skills . Topics covered will include learning how to use our online learning platform (Canvas); creating and formatting documents in Word as well searching for information on the Internet and practicing sending emails.

Course aim

The aim of this course is to enable students to continue to build on their digital skills including using Canvas, email and Word.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Create/log into your own Canvas account.
  • Complete at least 1 quiz on Canvas.
  • Create/sign into Learn My Way and complete at least 1 course.
  • Practise sending emails from own account.
  • Create and format at least 2 Word documents.
