Ref: C3747614

This course is for students to gain more practical counselling experience in triads (counsellor, client and observer) using the ten core counselling skills. Each week will start with a check in and a focus, the lesson will be mainly spent in triads, experiencing all the 3 main roles, switching around after 15-30 minute sessions and will end with feedback, reflection and checking out. Sessions will include tutor observations. To attend this course you will have already need to have completed a 6 week counselling skills course or have a Level 2/3/4 counselling qualification. This course has been created in response to counselling student feedback requesting this type of course and can be useful before progressing to the next level of counselling studies, sometimes even essential as some courses do not allow you to progress to the next level if you don't have enough practical experience. You are encouraged to keep a reflective journal throughout this course.
