In a supportive, relaxed environment we will explore the themes associated with Autumn & Winter and use these as inspiration for art/craft work. You be introduced to a range of different art and craft materials and techniques and will be supported to produce your own handmade art and craft pieces.

Working in partnership with East Surrey College, this course is for people living in East Surrey who are registered with the Mary Frances Trust.

Course aim

To explore the themes associated with Autumn & Winter and use these as inspiration for handmade pieces of art/craft work.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • I can explore and use seasonal themes to inspire my art and craft work.
  • I can experiment with using one or more art/technique that is new to me.
  • I can experiment with using one or more art/craft material that is new to me.
  • I can produce at least one finished piece of work with an Autumn/Winter theme.
