Needle felting is a very relaxing and enjoyable activity. Enjoy creating your favourite garden birds using needle felting techniques. Over the six weeks you will learn how to sculpture and form the wool to bring your birds to life.
Course aim
A fun course creating your favourite garden birds. Suitable for beginners and for those with some experience. You will learn about different wools, using different needles and using wire to create your birds legs and feet.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Understand the safe working practices required for needle felting and creating shapes.
- Learn how to manipulate felting wool with a needle
- Learn how to over lay wool and add features to your birds
- Use wire to make legs and feet
- Know that there are different types of wool
What else do I need to know?
You will watch live demonstrations and see samples to help you progress. You will need to provide your own materials and information for this will be available on Canvas. You may like to work on your project in-between classes.
