A two-hour workshop learning how to needle felt a Spring Hare. Needle felting is a technique that locks wool together by repeatedly stabbing the wool and forming a wool sculpture. It is a very easy and relaxing process and you will be thrilled by the end result. You will be learning how to make the body shape using wire for his body, plus how to needle felt his eyes or alternatively sew on small black beads and make and attach limbs. Needle felting is an increasingly popular pastime, suitable for all ages. No special skills are required. Once the basics have been grasped, students can move on to more ambitious projects including wool painting and other 3D forms.
Course aim
Enjoy creating a Spring Hare using the relaxing technique of using wool for needle felting. This is a fun and interactive class learning how sculpture the wool to make your hare.
